We raise funds through social gatherings some of which are becoming an annual event. Notably, the Night Glow in August each year where several Hot Air Balloons inflate as dusk falls. Hot Dogs, Burgers, beer and wine are available and any profits from the evening towards the current fund raising aim. We have had Halloween parties, a Treasure Hunt, a village open gardens and huge fun for the Royal Wedding where we invited everyone to bake cakes, come and picnic, have fun in the tug of war and relax!

We have been greatly supported by the Vibrant Villages Fund – part of the Greenham Common Trust, the Hairy Legs Challenge, the Streatley Parish Council , West Berkshire Council, the North Wessex Downs Leader Fund, the Goring Gap News and everyone’s support at our fund raising events.
 
The Recreation Ground is becoming a hive of activity and at any one time you can see children and adults alike enjoying the equipment, cycling on the track, walking or jogging, playing for the Streatley Strikers
