| All Streatley Parish Councillors are, by
default, trustees of the charity which is in place to manage
the old chalk quarry on Wantage Road. This space has remained
unused for many years. One of the main challenges with it is
that there is a complete lack of parking available for people
wanting to conduct any activities there. Another challenge is
the nature of a quarry – it can be dangerous!! However
if any parishioners have got sensible ideas of how to make this
land of use to all parishioners then please do not hesitate
